Stayed for 3 night at beginning and 2 nights at end of trip. Mostly good. Location good.

Ideal location short bus ride from the city center. Exceptionally clean and homely space to enjoy, especially the family room. Great facilities and complementary extras were another bonus (hot chocolate what more can you ask for)!!The hosts were extremely generous and informative, our time in Christchurch would not have been the same without them. Could not have picked a better place to stay beginning our South Island Travels! Thanks again

The suites are very large and really comfortable with everything you could need. The bathrooms are fabulous and include a spa bath, which we didn't use. c.7km out of Hanmer Springs you are a bit 'captive' for dinner but great location if you want to relax and explore the area. Dinner was good and not too pricey - we had the lamb shank and parmesan encrusted salmon. The hotel was quiet when we stayed so there were not many staff members evident. We only stayed one night so didn't make use of the spa etc.

The apartment was huge, very spacious for our family of 5. Perfect location for a quick trip to the airport and a free shuttle every 30 mins also. Best part - the restaurant- our dinner was so good!! As was the service and the chef singing in the kitchen

The location is great, the older style charm and size of rooms appealing and the staff were very good to deal with. The complimentary pre-dinner wine in the lounge and the opportunity to meet other guests was also enjoyable

We stayed at the Tuscana Motor Lodge for just one night and it was a perfect spot as we passed through the city. Our check-in was easy and lovely (we were offered a glass of milk when we arrived) and the room had everything we needed to get settled for the night. Plus, the neighborhood was very walkable - once we parked at the Lodge for the night we just walked into downtown Christchurch and to dinner.

Very nice innkeepers and big unit with a full kitchen, living room, etc. Although they were not required to, the innkeepers were kind enough to refund our second night when we chose to leave a day early.

This was a great place to stay, easy walk into town area. Lobster Inn Tavern served great evening meals. Unit was very clean and comfortable. We had a back unit which was very quiet. Good parking, diagonally across road is a supermarket and many eateries along the road to motels.
