The welcoming was friendly and special. Lionel welcomed us with a lovely sign and welcome drinks. The facilities are incredible. You don’t need anything at all because it’s all supplied. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The pool is lovely. The bed is extremely comfortable. We loved the little treats that we got every day when we came back from our time out exploring. The breakfast is amazing as well. A very special place and great for time out and to relax. Thank you Lionel and Rob for being amazing hosts. We loved our stay!!! And would highly highly recommend.

We didn’t spend much time here, just a night.
Was very clean and had everything we needed.
The lovely lady whose name I forgot was so friendly. So welcoming and hospitable. Would come back just based on that level of customer service alone.

As we were only there for one night it had everything we needed, but noticed that it advertised the cafe, but noticed that the cafe was closed and up for sale, although this was not a big deal as there were plenty of eateries close by.
Kerikeri was an easy place to get around.

It’s a wonderful art and food scene with hidden beaches and waterfalls all over the show. A great stop on your way through the north or as a base to travel from. It also has an airport for weekend getaways.

Rainbow Falls are worth a visit, especially on a longer river trail walk. The Stone Store is great but make sure you walk to the Pa Site to get a different perspective - about 250m to the right of the Stone Store and past the Plough and Feather. The pizzas at the bar behind the Plough and Feather are delicious! And the GF option was yum!

Has great venue for events and beautiful waterfalls and walks. The shops are varied, good quality, and many cafes to choose from with delicious food. We also really liked the Friday evening food fest at the Old Packhouse and the Saturday morning market there.
An amazing place to stay and relax. We had our own access to the property, away from the main house which was great. There was a little area we could sit out in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine. It was a 5 minute drive in to town, so not far at all. The host, Nenita was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for her and she even gave us tips of what we could do in and around KeriKeri. We would definitely return.
Me and my partner loved stay at Avalon resort it was the best weekend ever it was very nicely located not far from the shops or from the town centre kid friendly, also we had a lovely relax in the sauna also a spa, the beds are extremly comfortable, my baby had her cot provied from yous which was amazing she also slept all through the night leaving a stressless night. I give avalon a 10/10 would love to stay again
- The comfort, tranquility and garden-like surroundings which provide guests with privacy
- The motel is only a few minutes to Kerikeri's CBD by car
- Staff service your room daily
- Each motel suite has its own deck overlooking a garden
- Lots of streaming and live TV entertainment options - the best I have seen at a motel/hotel in a long time
- I didn't swim in the pool but it looked inviting
We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at Treghan luxury lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was stunning, with luxurious amenities and immaculate attention to detail. Anna and Murray were amazing hosts. We can't recommend this lodge highly enough to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and indulgent getaway.
At first appearance the room looked simple, but it had all the comforts we needed. The manager was very friendly, and provided a bottle of fresh milk for our tea/coffee. (A great touch). Close to the main part of Kerikeri, and close to the Rainbow Falls. We thought it gave exceptional value for money.
I have been travelling and managing hotels for many years and this is the first time I can say with certainty: absolute perfection.
Beautiful, extremely comfortable, exceptional amenities. The jacuzzi and the pool at night under the stars with the sounds of the sea are an absolute blast.
Everything...the salt water pool...the spa pool...the comfy room and beds.....the beautiful gardens.....superb brekkie in the morning....and the fabulous hosts, who made our 2 nights here the highlight our our trip up north. Highly recommended,!!!
The setting is beautiful, and the tents are far enough apart that it feels private and peaceful but still safe. The decor is so cool, and the whole place is lit by fairy lights. It's a short drive to everything in Kerikeri. We loved it.
Very helpful hosts, exceptional chalets, very quiet and comfortable. It is a short walk to the shopping centre. We have stayed in other accommodations in Kerikeri but this is certainly our number one choice in future.
Good location with interesting collection of horse carriages and vintage cars that the owner was only too willing to show us. Excellent views of Kerikeri inlet and the owners Clydesdale horses were very friendly.
The Apartment was a great place to stay overnight and we found contact with the Owners amazing! We would certainly consider staying here again if we were looking for accomodation in Kerikeri.
Staff are amazing, friendly and go the extra mile for their customers. Whenever I travel to Kerikeri for work I always stay here and always will. Honestly the best service available.
Quiet location, great garden with pool and spa, excellent breakfast, room with nice amenities, comfortable bed, Tania and Troy are very responsive hosts. We would love to come back.
Fantastic location, very handy for both Kerikeri and Bay of Islands exploring.
Well appointed property, very comfortable, with all guests needs anticipated.
Ive stayed many times over the years and stay in the cheaper rooms but they have been done up since my last visit with nicer bed spreads so it was nice.
