Private cottage among the vines. Was warm with comfy beds. Host provided continental breakfast supplies and fruit. Spotless. Spacious. Good wifi. Be aware that 2 nd bedroom is upstairs. That said it had great views.

We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, but it seemed rather busy most evenings (mainly as nothing else is open in town except for KFC or McDonalds)

The 14th Lane is in a great location, in the heart of Blenheim, but also peaceful and noise free. The hotel is small and family owned and the owners could not make you more welcome. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was large and very clean with good quality towels and toiletries. The hotel is very near to a variety of restaurants and had good information about local activities. There was coffee and tea facilities in the room and a fridge. The area felt safe and locals were extremely friendly and helpful. Blenheim is a lovely town with lots of cafes to sit outside and people watch.
The Peppertree is situated in the heart of the Marlborough wineries and olive groves. The rooms have direct access to its extensive garden. The area is well known for wine tasting.
